GEtting Lost
Getting lost in when you suddenly realise that you don't know where you are or where to go.
Getting lost can feel very unpleasant. You may feel scared, sad or anxious. This is OK. Most people don't like being lost.
If you get lost it is important to keep calm. This will help you think about what you can do.
Sometimes one of these strategies can help when you are lost:
Asking someone for help
Phoning someone for help
Looking at a map. (There might be one on your phone.)
If you know where you have come from you can go back there
If you are completely lost then it is often best just to stay where you are, until help comes.
Getting lost can happen to anyone. Feeling unhappy is OK but it is best to stay calm and try to think what to do.
