Three types of reward are negotiated with the child so that at the end of the day they earn one of the three activities based on the level of success - 3, 4, or 5 ticks out of 5. This is useful for children who become extremely difficult to motivate or control if they cannot get their reward.

This resource is for nurseries and primary schools using the Cloud System of classroom behaviour management: sun, cloud and storm cloud. This system may not always work for children with additional needs and it is important to keep a record of where the child is on the scale. Use this sheet to inform parents about behaviour. Where children consistently become distressed or disruptive about being placed on the dark cloud it often best to move them to an alternative individual reward system.

This is a resource to provide different levels of reward depending on the degree of success experienced by the child in achieving the targeted behaviour. It is useful where a child may become challenging once their main reward is no longer achieveable. By having previously agreed lesser rewards on a sliding scale the child can hopefully be motivated to achieve these. This example has 1-5 levels of rewards.
