Introduction

Writing frames can be help scaffold and structure writing tasks for students of all abilities. They can also be used to differentiate writing tasks offering greater support for students who need this. Writing frames, can reduce the task load for less able writers while at the same time given then the opportunity to complete a full sheet of work. This can help all students experience success in the lesson and this is very powerful in maintaining motivation and self-esteem
