Helping all children become happy learners
How Do You?
The How Do You articles are responses and strategies to questions submitted by parents
Guidance:
In each How Do You article a range of strategies are given to try. No strategy is better or worse than any other and some may intentionally contradict others. This is because different children respond to different strategies and sometimes doing the opposite may work. It is best to just choose one or two strategies at a time and give a few weeks to trial out whether they will support your child. The key is to be patient and flexible in your approach. Also consider whether a strategy is suitable for your child's age and literacy skills.
