What's involved?
A fun physical playgound game encouraging social cooperation and teamwork skills.
What's required?
You need 6 or more players but no equipment is required.
How to play:
One child is the Spider who is in the middle of a circle of children. Children agree the area they will play in.
The spider cannot move from the spot. They can turn round and reach out with their arms only.
The other children run back and forth across the circle daring to get as close to the spider without being caught.
When a child is caught they join hands with the spider and help to catch other children.
As more children are caught the web becomes bigger!
Game continues until everyone is caught.
The last one caught becomes the next Spider.
