What's involved?
A fun circle game involving observation and mimicry. Develops attentional and observation skills.
What's required?
You need 8 or more players but no equipment is required.
How to play:
Everyone stands or sits in a circle facing each other.
One child is chosen to be the 'guesser' and walks away for a minute so they cannot hear or see what goes on.
Now the group choose a 'leader'. The remaining children are 'Copy Cats' who must do everything the leader does.
The guesser returns and stands in the middle of the circle.
The leader makes small actions and movements that the Copy Cats must copy straight away. The Copy Cats must try not to make it too obvious who they are copying.
The guesser must try and work out who is the leader. They can make no more than three guesses to try and find the leader.
The round ends when the leader is found or the guesser has used up their three guesses.
Now a new guesser and then leader are chosen.
