Kicking
If I Kick
If I kick someone I am using my legs and feet to try and hurt them.
Kicking someone on purpose is not OK. If I kick someone I might hurt them and make them upset. This is not OK.
Kicking is against the rules. If I kick I may make adults cross with me and get into trouble. I may also make other children unhappy with me.
If I feel I am getting angry with someone I can try to:
Walk away
Tell an adult
Do a calming activity
It is never OK to hurt others. I can try not to kick anyone. I can try not to kick anyone even if I feel angry.
Kicking
Kicking is trying to hurt someone using our legs and feet.

Kicking is also a very unkind thing to do. It can make the person we kick upset and we may hurt them. Hurting someone deliberately is against the law. If we kick someone we may make adults cross with us.
Sometimes we may feel angry and upset with someone. This is OK. Sometimes we might want to kick them. This is not OK.
Kicking can hurt and upset people. It is against the rules and we may get into trouble.
